Voltammetry
Voltammetry is a technique that allows qualitative and quantitative analysis of some metals and organic molecules. The electrochemical behavior of electroactive species is studied. Corrosion is the event that metals lose their metallic properties as a result of chemical and electrochemical reactions with their environment. It is possible
to measure the corrosion rate in the shortest time possible with electrochemical methods. Corrosion measurements are made with the Tafel Extrapolation method and the corrosion rate is calculated in mm/year.
